A Jewish folk/rock/pop act with flavors of traditional Hebrew music scattered throughout. Comparisons to Matisyahu are unavoidable here, but Moshav focuses more on guitar driven tunes having more in common with acts like Ben Harper or Jack Johnson than with reggae or hip-hop. (Though those influences pop up occasionally as well, most notably on tracks 6 and 7, respectively.) A strangely pleasant and upbeat Tom Waits cover (?!) is a nice highlight (Track 9) and the rest of the Album is satisfying at least, and quite enjoyable at best. No FCC issues, so play away! - Calin
