Chuck Prophet

Age of Miracles

2004-10-25

Age of Miracles is Prophet's seventh solo release. In a sense it's more of the same, but 'the same' doesn't mean repetitive. Rather, Prophet continues to incorporate a variety of musical elements into his work in creative new ways. There's some blues, some hip-hop, and some touches of psychedelic mixed into the underlying country/rock style. The lyrics range from profound to humorous. This is surely an album that will remain fresh and interesting over time. The more you listen, the more you'll find to appreciate.
