Her music combines heart wrenching lyrics with deep, dark piano melodies, a cocktail she describes as “tension and release.” In Your Face is a little more aggressive, produced by Byron Wong (Beck). Behind Your Back is a little more sparse, and a product of collaboration with Chris Brown and Lurch (Barenaked Ladies, Kathleen Edwards)
