The new release Afro-Latino Soul from Bryan Vargas & ¡Ya Esta!, perhpas best falls into the category we loosely refer to as a "multi-cultural stew".Bryan Vargas is a New York City-based composer and guitarist writing original Latin jazz pieces with backing by trumpet, bass and a three piece percussion section.
Bryan’s debut is produced by pianist Arturo O’Farrill, who’s also the head of Lincoln Center's new Afro-Cuban Jazz Orchestra. Arturo O’Farrill joins the band on this track from the debut release.
