From the Dazzle Recordings website: "Award winning guitarist, songwriter, and producer David Wiatrolik presents a collection of vocal jazzpop songs .... This album of original music had deep American roots, catchy melodies and is performed by strong players who know how to swing.... This music strives to make jazz accessible once again with just the right balance of musicality and edge."
Lots to like in a range from Dixieland through light Bop and smooth jazz, though I'd prefer more edge and less smooth. Sometimes he seems to channel Al Jarreau ... and sometimes Squirrel Nut Zippers. Wide range of tempos to choose from.
