Bap Kennedy

Reckless Heart

2017-02-17

I had never heard of Bap Kennedy before, and upon doing some research i must say, where have i been. I should have been listening to his music for quite some time. Reckless Heart is the 7th Album he has produced. In the past he has worked with such artists like Steve Earle and Van Morrison, and the sound on this album is very similar to the style of them as well. Kind of a singer songwiterish style, but has a little Americana to it as well. The roots of his style are similar to Van Morrisons as well, as Bap has some ties over in England and Ireland, which also come out in the music. Very solid, and can't wait to hear more from him in the future. Loved tracks 1, 3, 4, and 8 the most.
