THE JOE MOSS BAND

Maricela's Smile

2008-06-19

This is some straight-up guitar-driven blues. This band hails from Chicago and this album was recorded and produced there. Stand-out tracks are the slow funk of "I Am Feeling You" and the rockin' "Fire and Water". "Big Leg Woman" features the fine keyboard work of Greg Sefner. It also features Joe Moss himself, playing the heck out of his Les Paul guitar. Reviewed by Rebecca Ruth.
