The Turban-ed One, Dr. Lonnie Smith returns with his latest release - Too Damn Hot!, out now on the Palmetto Records label.

Dr. Lonnie, so named for his ability to doctor up the music of his fellow musicians, is widely recognized as a master of the Hammond B-3 organ. Born in Buffalo, New York and self-trained as a musician, Smith first came to prominence on the jazz scene when Downbeat Magazine named him Top Organist in 1969. His career has included more than 30 recordings as band leader and he continues to top critic’s picks as one of the most innovative instrumentalists in his field.
