The Dialogue Music Disc 2005

The Dialogue brings together Calvin Colleges’s diverse musical community together on one shiny piece of plastic. Although predominantly acoustic folk-oriented, there are a few that stray from the beaten path (ie. the melancholy indie-pop of Ben & Bruno, the ambient sound collage by Juan Garcia (Nice!), and the oddball closing metal track by Rage & Roy). I also enjoyed Ms. Dennis’ piece, Slowly,Sweetly, quite a lot. I’ve offered you some sign posts, now embark and explore. Reviewed by Trevor Edmonds (June 2007) (Beware!
