Angie Wells & Raphael Lemonnier

Love And Mischief

2017-06-23

I really enjoy an album which has a jazzy feel to it, but has a woman pouring her heart and soul into the vocals. You can clearly see on this record that Angie Wells is showing her vocal skills, and the education to go along with it. When she returned to LA she spent a lot of time studying vocal jazz techniques, as well as seeking out mentorship from local Jazz musicians. There is a really good mix of songs on this album with some slow thoughtful songs, as well as some up beat tunes as well. Not to mention she does a cool cover of "Baby It's Cold Outside." I really enjoyed tracks 1, 5, 6, 8, and 11 the most on here. Recommend picking it up.
