EL PERRO DEL MAR

Pale Fire

2012-11-05

Pale Fire is the fourth release from Swedish songstress, Sarah Assbring, under the moniker El Perro Del Mar. I don't know what inspired her to call herself "dog of the sea" (in spanish, no less). MIld electronica and quiet synth beats back vocals sung almost in a whisper. Pale Fire would do nicely as background noise for a gathering, but it offers nothing to truly engage this listener beyond a song or two. Rebecca Ruth
