Kristo Numpuby’s Assiko City is a true depiction of Assiko music. Being brought up in Cameroon, Numpuby was drawn to the sound of the Bassa people who made music with everyday ordinary items. This album definitely offers something different, with not only great guitar but other interesting sounds produced from knives, forks, spoons, and empty bottles! If you’re looking for something completely different this is it for you.-MK
