Think low calorie Death Cab For Cutie. Not that Memphis doesn’t have the ferocity of DCFC, but they certainly don’t have the name recognition or power that DCFC already posses. A Little Place In The Wilderness could command a good following in smaller clubs of bigger cities. Their sound is kind of typical, but listen closer and you’ll get a lot more out of it the 2nd or 3rd time listening. Even if you tune out the lyrics, the music itself is quite enjoyable. Check out tracks 1 “I Dreamed We Fell Apart”, track 4 “Time Away”, and track 5 “A Ghost Story”. – Lane ZoerhofSHAWN LEE AND CLUTCHY HOPKINS
