Erik Applegate

Two's Company

2017-02-17

I love a nice and slow jazz album. The brass horns on this album are more than solid, and stand out quite a bit. I really enjoyed the acoustic Bass Erik Applegate plays as well. The bass does provide some nice beats, and gets your groovin for sure. There are also several guests on this album, who sit in to play various instruments like tenor sax, trombone, and the piano to help give it some uniqueness. I enjoyed it quite a bit, and liked tracks 1, 2, and 8 the most. It really just moved seemlessly throughout the album, and went from track to track without hardly even noticing.
