The title Little Grey Sheep refers to the fact that all of the songs on this album are castoffs that didn?t fit within the scheme of his previous two albums. They aren?t black sheep, completely outcast, but they weren?t favored enough to make the other albums. You get the idea. Schmidt?s earnest vocals bring out the full visual vibrancy of his lyrics and complement his simple guitar work. The intensely personal nature of the album makes it a pleasure to take in. - Ben C.Rickie Lee Jones
