Rodrigo Sanchez and Gabriela Quintero met as teenagers in a Mexico City thrash metal band and have been playing together ever since, mostly acoustic duo guitar. Now based in Dublin, the two have gotten the attention of Irish pubs, radio stations and music labels, opening for artists as diverse as folksinger Damian Rice, jazzman Courtney Pine and the Buena Vista Social Club. They're known for their lightening speed on the guitars, heard best on "Tamacun" (#1), "Vikingman" (#3), "Ixtapa" (#5) and 'P.P.A." (#9).
