This album took me a minute to get in to. My first thoughts were to simply shrug it off as too poppy. And while it is quite poppy there is also some good song-writing and moments that I really enjoyed. Plus she’s a local artist. ‘Lakeshore Drive’ is a slow country ballad that lends well to Rhys’ voice and story. I also very much enjoyed ‘Sometimes Always Maybe’ and ‘Ghost.’ – Derrick Mund
