KYLE ANDREWS

Amos in Ohio

2006-07-19

With a guitar, keyboard, and a few drum loops, Kyle Andrews creates simple yet thoroughly enjoyable music. His lyrics embrace the wonderland of childhood and of exploring youthful romance, reminding his listeners of how good it feels to go out and have some good, clean fun. Yet the world Andrews creates with his music is not ignorant of current affairs. The song "Please Respond" addresses the issue of war and violence. Andrews draws his influence from The Beatles, Wilco, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Postal Service, Metric, The Smashing Pumpkins, Neil Young, and The Neptunes. – Ben Kleyn 5. "I kept cutting myself just to watch you bleed."
