DAVID FORD

I Sincerely Apologize for all the Trouble I’ve Caused.

2006-06-23

You might equate him to Sufjan, but not as indie-scene. He claims that “there’s no compromise” in the record, and that everything’s there “entirely because I wanted it there.” The album was recorded entirely in his home, by himself, which makes you think: in the days of myspace and itunes, who really needs more than a two track and a kitchen anyway? Maybe that would be a question to ask Paul Simon. In any case, “no regrets” is a great thing to have in a debut album, and in this case, its justified. –Pete
