Scott writes from the heart, nobody could accuse him of sitting on the fence, he speaks his mind at the risk of sounding a little preachy. I enjoyed the musicianship on this one. He was named Songwriter of the Year by the Nashville Songwriters Association International in 2001 and ASCAP’s Songwriter of the Year in 2002.
