ASTRID WILLIAMSON

Day of the Lone Wolf

2007-01-08

Williamson is a true and effective “emo” writer. Her songs at times can be very powerful, reflective, empowering sounds. At times Williamson sounds a bit like Alanis Morissette. After being dropped from her record label, she’s really bounced back writing and producing her own songs, distributing, and designing her own album. Just knowing that, you have such a higher appreciation for the moving sounds you here on this one.-MK
