Michael Gamble And The Rhythm Serenaders

Get Rhythm In Your Feet

2017-08-03

I can't even tell you the last time i reviewed a CD like this one. Very old school music, sounding like music from the 1930's and 40's. They have that Ella Fitzgerald or Billie Holiday sound for sure, and they really like to pay homage to those great musicians in their music, songs and lyrics. Anytime you have more than 5 or 6 people in the band you get sounds coming from all over. I really enjoyed this one quite a bit, especially the old school vibe they are putting out. Quite a few good songs overall, but a couple of my favorites were tracks 2, 3, 10, 12, and 15. Highly recommend picking it up.
