Don’t Mess with the Dragon

2007-01-30

These guys couldn’t have come out with a better followup release to their 2004 studio release Street Signs. Don’t Mess… is a mature, easy-to-hear release that will get anyone dancing on the first listen. Upon further examination however, complications unfold evidencing the groups creativity. Some hip-hop and turntablism show the niche they are dropping into---they’ve been touring with some premier jazz/hip hop/jam band/world groups and the end result in the diversity of this release draws all of these genres together—a good mix but still strongly Latin.
