Aimee Mann

Live at St. Ann's Warehouse

2004-11-15

Ok, even though her song "Save Me" from the Magnolia soundtrack was nominated for an Academy Award, I still think Aimee Mann is underrated; there's still alot of folks out there who don't know who she is. She's one efficient package of excellent vocals, melodies and songwriting.

Those of you already devoted fans, will recognize many of the songs on this live CD.... But there are a couple of sneak previews here (tracks #3,12) for her next studio recording, "King of the Jailhouse" due out in 2005, which is being produced by Joe Henry. (!!!)

Live at St.Ann's Warehouse is being released as a 2 disk set: one CD and one DVD of the same concert, including interviews and behind-the-scenes stuff.
