Very Singer Songwriter to say the least. I thought they sounded very similar to a Sturgill Simpson. Brent Johnson is the driving force behind this band, and prides himself on writing strong lyrics which tell a story. This album from them is a tremendous example of this as you can really feel the heartfelt lyrics pouring out on the paper. He has quite a bit of experience with travelling so coming up with Lyrics to support the album is a direct reflection of times spent on the road and times in Life. It was not too bad, check out tracks 2, 7, and 8 for a couple decent tunes.
