David Pack's Napa Crossroads

NAPA Crossroads

2014-04-15

David Pack the lead singer and songwriter from Ambrosia and wine enthusiast assembled players from five different winery's in the NAPA area to produce a CD that captured the spirit of the region. To enhance the vintage of the songs on this disc David brought in Superstars like Bella Fleck for the folk tinged track "O' Blessed Vine". On what is probably Ray Manzarek's last recording, he finally breaks on through to the other side on "Silverado Free". After breaking through, David brings in 70's icon Alan Parsons for vocals on the "Next Adventure". Other notable talents include Larry Carlton on "Every time I Look At You" and The wizard Todd Rundgren on "You Were The One". Jazz greats David Benoit and Mindi Abair are also featured on this disc that combines folk, rock with jazz influences to provide a disc that captures its full complexity and can be enjoyed until the very last note.
