GOLDEN SMOG

Another Fine Day

2006-07-19

Golden Smog started as a side-project covers band in the late '80s. It went through members of Soul Asylum, the Replacements, Wilco, the Jayhawks, Run Westy Run, and the Honeydogs, and slowly evolved into what it is today: a shining and original rock 'n' roll "supergroup". Their newest release, "Another Fine Day," truly is golden. It's the kind of music that lifts you up and still acknowledges all the things that bring you down, making it all the more bittersweet. – Ben Kleyn Recommended tracks: 3, 5, 11 13.
