Finally, a long-shelved project from which we’ve previously only been given small samples. Rehearsed, recorded and mixed over six days in 2000, the debut from the Mutual Admiration Society finally makes its way to stores.

The Mutual Admiration Society is the first-ever collaboration between Toad the Wet Sprocket front-man Glen Phillips and Americana upstarts Nickel Creek. Essentially a Glen Phillips solo record, the debut features 11 Phillips compositions with heavy doses of instrumental support from the Nickel Creek gang.

The group is planning a summer tour in support of the record, as Nickel Creek prepares their third album for Sugar Hill Records and Glen Phillips begins his association with Lost Highway Records with a solo record due this Fall.
