Jackie Mittoo was born in Jamaica in 1948 and died in 1990. He was a Jamaican keyboardist who learned to play piano at the age of 4 and grew up to be a triple album creator. He immigrated to Toronto in the end of the 60’s and it was there were he recorded his three albums, which expressed his roots with reggae feel.
