Minneapolis trio, Solid Gold has finally come up with its second full-length, Eat Your Young. Not quite as dancey as the debut, Bodies of Water, Eat Your Young still boasts the same synth pop of its predecessor. While melodic electronica beats skitter across these tracks, there are also some pensive moments. In fact, Eat Your Young is the band's most contemplative work to date. Whether you see that as good or bad, it's good to see this young band continue to develop. Rebecca Ruth
