Jen Sygit is a fresh talent coming from southern Michigan and is a reminder that old souls do live in young minds. As Jen’s second release, “Leaving Marshall St,” emphasizes the acoustic blues, torch songs, country music, and lighthearted folk tunes. Jen often plays solo but select times she appears with a band. To provide a different feel to her music, other than her routine but yet solid acoustic guitar, she blends in with her open back banjo or soprano ukulele which provides some lighter harmonies to go with her vocals. -Ben Buteyn
