In simple terms a 4-star movie deserves a 4-star soundtrack and this one does not disappoint. Boyhood is the story of growing up as seen through the eyes of a child and was shot with the same cast over a 12 year period. The Soundtrack captures music from the same span of years{2000-2013}and combines classic as well as artists who also came to age during that same period. You will find mega hits like Coldplays 2000 breakout "Yellow", Gnarls Barkley's 2006 "Crazy" as well as Paul McCartney & Wings 2010 remastered edition of "Band On The Run". When growing up, it is the new discoveries that truly fascinate and artists like Cat Power, Vampire Weekend, The Black Keys, Gotye and Arcade Fire provide those magical moments. If you see through the eyes of a child and open your ears and mind, you will realize how wonderful life is and the music contained on this soundtrack can be. Reviewed By: Gregg Saur
