SINEAD O’CONNOR

Theology

2007-07-03

Sinead O’Connor’s, Theology offers both acoustic versions, Disc 1 (Dublin Sessions), and versions with pop arrangements, Disc 2 (London Sessions). “Something Beautiful” on Disc 2 is a must listen. “Whomsoever Dwells” on Disc 2 is good although it does have an excessive 90 second intro. The acoustic versions give you a more intimate connection with O’Connor, and “Dark I Am Yet Lovely” and “Whomsoever Dwells” sound better acoustically because of this. You don’t lose a lot, if anything, with O’Connor by going from electronic to acoustic, and you can’t say that about a lot of artists. A great album no matter what version you go with. – Jerrod Willea (Intern)
