We Will Become Like Birds

Erin is an East Coast folkie who grew up in Virginia and made her mark on the Boston music scene. She initially distinguished herself from the crowd as a multi-instrumentalist with a tendency to explore gypsy jazz, torch songs, blues and swing.

Ms. McKeown's 4th release finds her departing from her trademark sound in favor of a band-oriented pop rock approach. The result is pleasing, proving her to still be one of the most versatile young artists around.
