The only group where you can find such an eclectic blend of folk, funk, pop, southern rock, and a slew of other genres is Sol Driven Train, a 6-piece from South Carolina. This rootsy, all-american band breaks the barriers of labels through 11 strange tracks filled with an impressive array of instrumentality and queer but approachable lyrics. Tight harmonies and a strong horn section are ever-present throughout, with professional quality from each member. Dance is certainly something you can’t hear anywhere else.
