  He is Max Wheeler and she is Victoria Port (aka Anushka).  She plays keyboards, sings and produces.  He plays keyboards and does the drum programming.  Together, this Brighton, UK duo makes electro-soul dance music. With nary an acoustic instrument in sight, the music on Broken Circuit  is all electronic, except for the vocals, of course.  The songs offer soulful vocals and are not particularly distinguishable from one another, except perhaps for "Mansions".  This drum and bass track, with its fun lyrics, is easily the best song here.  As a whole Broken Circuit offers danceable R&B pop.    Rebecca Ruth
