The Tide

Rachel Sage's EP, "The Tide," is a response to the recent political and humanitarian crises and events we have been experiencing. From the 15th anniversary of 9/11 to the most recent shootings and U.S. presidential election. Rachael's vocals and music stylings remind me of Jewel. She has a soft, yet intentional voice with similar vocal inflections, while incorporating acoustic guitar, piano, and strings. She is currently on a U.S. tour and hopes the songs on this EP will promote compassion for each other and improve our abilities to look inward for peaceful and thoughtful responses to current and future events. Favorite songs were tracks 2 and 4.
