Re-Imagination

2007-08-06

Eldar is a 20-year-old jazz piano phenomenon as both a composer and a pianist. Re-Imagination is edged with the turntablism of DJ Logic, but don’t expect to hear this as a dominating force. Eldar is backed by the drummer and bassist from Wynton Marsalis’ band. The album contains all original Eldar compositions, except tracks 2 and 5. –Pete
