Mike Blakely

Keepsake

2017-08-31

I thought they sounded quite a bit like some of the early Band of Heathens albums. They have a little country to them, but have some rockabilly going on as well. Mike has been in music for 25 years, and this is his 11th Album to date, but the first in 6 years. He took the time to start up his own label for this one, which was part of the long absence between records. Not too shabby overall. Tracks 3, 5, and 8 were the best on the record for sure.
