KATCHAFIRE

Slow-Burning

2007-01-12

Katchafire kicks off this album with a slow burning reggae tune that harkens the fuller ensembles of Mr. Bob Marley and the Wailers in their late 70's hey days. Solid rhythm and horn sections allow for some soulful simmerin'. Katchafire has a lot of love to give. Many of these odes are a hybrid of old school reggae, dub, and old school R&B. Some bonus tracks included with remixes from Mad Professor and Basscamp. This is a strong effort and definetely exhibits some quality new reggae, soaked in the 70's.
