“Unschooled, confessional piano ballads” – NY Times From the rich tradition of Canadian folk music, NLX, “Natasha” to her fans, grew up with Danieal Lanois, Tori Amos, PJ Harvey, and NIN. Her music combines heart wrenching lyrics with deep, dark piano melodies, a cocktail she describes as “tension and release.” In Your Face is a little more aggressive, produced by Byron Wong (Beck). Behind Your Back is a little more sparse, and a product of collaboration with Chris Brown and Lurch (Barenaked Ladies, Kathleen Edwards)
