There are a couple of political/racial songs on this album on tracks 9 and 10 respectively. I thought his voice sounded very similar to Tom Gray from Delta Moon on quite a few tracks. They have that Folky style with a Singer Songwriter twist of their own. He really was able to get his start by being granted gigs at places like the Newport Folk Festival, which really helped him get his start and get known in the music industry. I thought this album was alright, but nothing fancy for sure.
