Ashton Allen

Dewdrops

2005-12-03

Out of Jacksonville Florida, Allen crafts a great love song as the nicer, "prettier," American version of Elliott Smith. The album has a nice mix of acoustic and rootsy electric guitar tracks. Nice mix of live strings and horns, piano, banjo, and mandolin. You might also identify him with Ben Folds, Paul McCartney and The Kings of Convenience. -Pete
