Shankar and Kale, both Indians raised in the US, have created a tasteful fusion among traditional and modern, Indian and Western cultures. Kale is the founding member of Tabla Beat Science. Anoushka Shankar, successful solo artist, is also Ravi’s daughter and Norah Jones sister. Guest singers not only include family members Ravi and Norah, but also Sting, and Salim Merchant, Bollywood soundtrack composer. –Pete
