This French Artist’s (nickname: J-Ro) American debut is pretty good, bringing to mind recent releases from Amadou and Miriam, Seu Jorge and Jack Johnson. Overall, pretty easy on the ears. From the label: “As a child Jehro’s imagination was fueled by the dreams of his Greek-Italian-Corsican mother, and the songs of his Georges Brassens-inspired singer of a father…” -Pete
