Ex-Grand Rapids native Kristy Hanson delivers a full strength album that could get her some serious airplay at folk stations…if there really were such things. Hopefully, college radio will pick her up and skyrocket her to stardom. Hanson has a beautiful voice that she uses well and in all honesty, competes with some of the more well known females voices out there now (Jewel, Faith Hill, Sheryl Crow all have their sound, but Hanson’s sounds is developed, pure, and not annoying).
