Space Vs. Time

The Old and New Avant-Garde

2007-03-23

Founded in 2004, Space vs. Time is a dynamic performance collective that works closely with the Urban Institute for Contemporary Art in Grand Rapids, MI and has developed partnerships with organizations in Ann Arbor, Chicago, Detroit and New York City. Corey Ruffin, local performer, educator, and member of Space vs. Time often showcases the artistic talent in Grand Rapids by putting on shows like the one found here on The Old and New Avant-Garde. His collaborators include Hugo Claudin on percussion, Michael Patterson on Contrabass, and others to make up Corey’s crack nine-piece band, The End of Times Orchestra. Seth Allgaier
