Singer-songwriter-multi-instrumentalists, Veleska Steiner and Sonja Glass are the duo, Boy. For debut release, Mutual Friends, the Hamburg-based duo offers occasionally surprising instrument choices, such as toy piano, saxophone, hand claps, and banjo, combined with sweet female vocals, guitar, keys, drums and fine production. It all culminates into inoffensive girl-fronted indie pop. Rebecca Ruth
