THE AVERY SET

Wishful Thinking

2006-07-05

These college freshmen at U of M put “The Avery Set” together a couple of years ago while in High School in Frankenmouth MI. Together, they have over 25 original songs which they play live and eventually plan to record. Wishful Thinking is their first full-length release, and it sounds well beyond that which you’d expect from musicians of this age, traversing a wide range of musical styles from progressive and indie folk to alt. country. The album shows great depth with a number of strengths including great songwriting and a full, mature sound. –Pete 6/06
