THOM YORKE

The Eraser

2006-07-19

Although he created this album by himself, Radiohead's lead singer, Thom Yorke, claims his independent work in no way means he's finished with the band. "This was all done with their blessing," he says. Eraser is dedicated to Yorke's daugher, Agnes, born 2004. The Radiohead album Amnesiac was similarly dedicated to his son, Noah. Of his dedication to Agnes, Yorke says, "I have been itching to do something like this for ages." He describes the songs as "beats and electronics". The result is rather hypnotic. – Ben Kleyn Recommended tracks: 2, 7 4. "fucked up"
